Hy everyone !

Every month, i’ll try to share with you the advancement on my new game project. I also would share with you, what a solo gamedev can make during days, weeks and month. And now, we can begin this series with the august report!

I detail a working week with the total amount of time i spent in work, a quick view of my charge of work, tired level, motivation and respect of schedule delay. I represent it with this scale :

Weekly review

Small work week, summer period obliges ☀️😎🏖️, with a big day on my Discord server installation and settings . The prototype creation is on a good way like i schedule.

Weekly review

Average work week, cut with some family obligations. I was still able to continue making progress on the prototype creation to not be too late on my schedule. If i replace family obligations with worktime, i’m getting closer of the ideal week work to progress correctly on the game and take enough time for rest and have fun.

Weekly review

Small work week because i would have help a family member with his home renovations. It tooks me a great part of my week worktime. I could progress a little on the prototype but i accumulate a small delay on my schedule.

Weekly review

Back to serious things! This is a heavyload week work to try to make up for lost time previous week (i also tried to not crunch). A sad event happened 🪦. It stopped the progress of the week et felt the moral down.


📈 August review

This first month of work on a new project is very exiting! ✨

Learning new notions like using of Social Media for communication is very interesting but very chronophagious.

I don’t found my cruise speed but it’s coming soon!

I need to be careful to not accumulate too much delay on my development schedule.
